A regional practice across East Anglia is seeking a litigation / employment solicitor to join the already well established and growing litigation and employment team. In this particular role you will specialise mostly in contentious employment matters and therefore knowledge of employment law issues is required. The employment and litigation teams are ranked highly in the Legal 500.
This role will be to handle an employment law caseload and work closely with the the dispute resolution team which handles a mix of contractual disputes, professional negligence, shareholder disputes and property litigation. You will also handle employment law concerns from employers including providing day-to-day employment law advice, tribunal litigation and dispute resolution, restructuring, discrimination, severance and privacy and data protection.
You will be ideally an employment solicitor with knowledge and interest in civil litigation with circa three years worth of experience post-qualification. You will be personable and client facing. This is a highly unique opportunity for a candidate who is willing to learn to add another string to their bow and learn a the ropes in handling contentious matters.
