Renowned firm in the Peterborough area requires a driven Employment and Litigation Lawyer.
With numerous departments riding high in the Legal 500 and Chambers rankings; our client is a leading firm with an innovative approach to providing outstanding service across a wide spectrum of practice areas. Established in the early 20th Century, the practice now employs over 100 individuals. Currently undergoing a period of growth, they are now seeking an additional Lawyer with Employment and Litigation experience to join their well-regarded team.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and talented Employment and Litigation Lawyer to join our clients’ highly regarded practice in Peterborough. Becoming part of a growing team, the successful Lawyer will manage a varied caseload incorporating contentious and non-contentious Employment matters for employer and employee clients in addition to some general litigation issues. Pro-active involvement in business development to further the growth and success of the department is essential for the role.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 3 years’ PQE.
You must have solid experience in Employment law with additional expertise in general litigation matters.
You will have excellent academics with at least a 2:1 at degree level (or equivalent).
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
A flair for business development is essential for the position.
