My client is a Tier 1 ranked city firm and leaders in the field of Consumer Law and Product Liability.

The firm is looking to bring in another Solicitor to assist its consumer law and product safety team. The successful applicant will be involved in investigating and pursuing litigation and undertaking research and business development work. Much of the work will involve group litigation claims against large companies in the areas of consumer law and product liability. The work will also involve researching and developing new areas of practice for the firm.

This position will ideally suit a more junior, with up to 3 years relevant, post qualification experience. Those with a background in any type of legal practice will be considered, but must have experience of Personal Injury or Clinical Negligence. You must be able to learn new areas of law quickly and have the ability to research and develop cases in new areas of law. Experience in or knowledge of consumer law, defective products, group claims/class actions would be an added advantage. It is not necessary for you to have a background acting for claimants; however you should be able to demonstrate a genuine interest to work for a leading UK claimant law firm and a passion to be a claimant lawyer.

Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
