Our client, a strong, multi-office regional firm pride themselves on their strong reputation in the local market, having been established for over 200 years. Due to continued growth and client wins, they are now looking to appoint a Housing Litigation solicitor to their offices in Cheshire (easily commutable from Manchester City Centre).

This Housing Litigation Solicitor role will involve running a full caseload of Housing Litigation matters , predominately on behalf of tenants and including matters such as:

  • Rent arrears
  • Nuisance allegations
  • Homelessness
  • Housing disrepair
  • Anti-social neighbours
  • Repossession and unlawful eviction.

As a Housing Litigation Solicitor, the ability to undertake your own advocacy and familiarity with legal aid cases will be key. The successful candidate will have at least 2 PQE* (or equivalent) and be able to confidently run their own caseload. In return our client are offering the opportunity to be part of a successful team and to be actively involved in growing the department and building a name for yourself in this niche area, within the local market
