In-house Paralegal / Legal Assistant - Planning / Commercial Property, York

An exciting In-house vacancy has arisen at an expanding professional services organisation based in York. Salary dependant on experience. Acting for a range of clients, this successful and growing business provides a full project management service on property development matters. Due to currently undergoing a further period of growth, we are looking for a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join the team.

Working within a supportive and all-encompassing project team, the successful candidate will act as the liaison between the team and external lawyers. You will have an overview of projects at all stages, including land acquisition, planning applications and property development.

We are looking for candidates with a background in planning and/or commercial property who may currently be in a paralegal or legal assistant position but may be looking for a slight change in direction. Strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are essential.

This unique In-house role presents an opportunity to join the business in a key position, and offers good exposure to projects relating to planning, property and development, while still retaining a legal perspective.
