Senior Law Costs Draftsman
Leeds
Due to growth I am currently recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable firm at their Leeds City Centre branch.
Applications are invited from ambitious Costs Lawyers and Solicitors looking for an opportunity to work within a quality legal firm. Candidates will be strong technically and possess the ability to see a costs matter through the cycle including the drafting of high value and complex bills.
Duties will include:
drafting budgets and attending CCMC
drafting bills in PI litigation, including serious injury and clinical negligence
drafting Points of Dispute
drafting Replies
preparing CLS Claim 1
negotiation
The successful applicant will have a full understanding of the CPR and must be a good negotiator. Experience of advocacy would be beneficial but not essential.
The successful candidate will be a senior member within a dedicated team, providing dedicated costs support for litigation lawyers across several UK based offices and external clients.
