Head of Legal

Head of Legal role with a leading organisation based in Edinburgh.

Exclusive opportunity for a senior in-house lawyer to take up a Head of Legal position with this high profile organisation.

In this newly created role the Head of Legal will oversee the international operations of the legal team working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. You will manage a team and ensure a proactive and robust stance is taken on legal work and risk managment.

This is a fast paced, everchanging environment and you will show flexibilty and commercial nous as the business grows on an international basis.

The ideal candidate will
- have a proven in-house track record ideally in an international contracting business
- have a broad technical background with the ability to negotiate large scale contracts and manage risk
- be able to manage a team and inspire, motivate and develop others
- have a proactive and commercial outlook

This is in an excellent opportunity for a senior legal counsel with management experience keen to take the step up to Head of Legal, or an exisiting Head of Legal / General Counsel who is looking to broaden their skill set with a true market leader and an exciting time of growth.
