Our client is a recognisable, innovative, well-known consumer brand headquartered in the UK with a worldwide presence.
The role
A need has arisen for a legal counsel to support the French, Spanish and Italian teams as part of the wider European legal team, to be based in the Paris office. Demonstrating a broad commercial expertise (including selective distribution channels), he/she will intervene on a variety of contracts (retail, supplier, distribution) and address broader legal issues emanating from the business, such as IT, marketing and R&D.
Profile sought
The successful candidate be a French qualified lawyer with 3-6 years' post qualification experience in a commercial role, with ideally a demonstrated understanding of business in an in-house context. He/she will be energetic, ambitious and pragmatic, and able to act as an ambassador for the legal team and HQ, whilst remaining aware of local business needs and specificities. You are fluent in French and English, and proficiency in Spanish would be a plus.
