Litigation Paralegal

Our client, a Local Authority based in London; is currently seeking a Litigation Paralegal for three months initially although there is a strong likelihood for extension.

The successful Litigation Paralegal will be required to undertake the following duties:

• Provide advice and draft correspondence, notices and orders,
• Issue proceedings,
• Instruct Counsel and
• Undertake research

The purpose of the role is for the successful paralegal to deal with a caseload focusing on debt recovery relating to service charge arrears, applying for default judgments and applying for charging orders. Knowledge and experience in the areas of debt recovery is essential and experience in housing litigation would be desirable. Candidates with Housing experience would ideally have covered housing possession matters.
