OFFSHORE, Cayman - Litigation Associate - Senior Commercial Disputes Lawyer - 7+pqe

Our client is a leading offshore law firm. Their busy litigation team in Cayman is seeking a senior disputes and litigation associate with at least 7 years post qualification experience gained with a major firm. City of London experience will be an advantage. Strong academics and a sound legal training are required. Our client is committed to training and development, offers attractive reward packages in a low-tax environment and will also provide you with the chance to work on some of the most interesting caseloads in the offshore market.

Candidates will be able to take responsibility for the conduct of litigation (including advocacy) in any of the following areas: civil litigation, and, in particular, debt collection, personal injury, employment, construction litigation or; major commercial litigation and, in particular, litigation involving cross-border issues, insolvency, asset tracing, and complex financial disputes. The successful candidate should be able to handle a large caseload with minimal supervision, be responsible for managing others and be involved in mentoring and training of juniors.
