Insurance Litigation Solicitor - Wiltshire

My client are a leading full service independent firm who are L500 and Chambers ranked.

They currently have a requirement for an Insurance Litigation Solicitor to defend claims brought against local authorities such as councils as well as corporate clients and the police and fire services. The successful applicant should have at least 1 year contentious experience.

This is an interesting and varied position for a litigator who has an active interest in this type of work.

The defendant litigation work will include the following areas:
-employers and public liability
-social services claims (including child abuse)
-industrial disease
-accidents and personal injury

Working within a team which encompasses a Partner, Assistant Solicitor and Trainee - you will be a qualified Solicitor who will assist the team by managing your own caseload of matters above with the support of the team.

If you are a junior litigator with an interest in working in this area of the law, my client are able to offer a competitive salary and range of benefits.

You do not need the specific skills above, but an interest within defence work (perhaps you have a claimant background) and defending local authorities is a must as well as strong litigation skills.
