This client is global law firm with offices in key business centres across the Americas, Asia and Europe. The firm employs approximately 2000 lawyers. Their London office has a headcount of circa 800 and offices in the City.
They are currently recruiting for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join their team on a fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities include
Produce daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for both internal and external purposes.
Provide analytical support to various Fee Earner statistical performance measurement calculations and assist with on-going queries.
Acting as the primary contact in relation to reporting issues both internally and externally.
Ad-hoc reporting for clients to include but not limited to, matter management information (time and billing data) and audit comfort letters.
Undertake ad-hoc tasks in improving the reporting and management of financial data in the Accounts department.
Assist the US reporting team with global client economic reporting.
Prepare process workflows and results of business analysis.
Create and deliver system training for all users of the firm's business systems.
Review and action data integrity for the finance system. Solving/ escalating issues.
Provide SQL training to the wider accounts team.
Undertaking additional duties and/ or projects in conjunction with the above as deemed appropriate by senior management in the firm.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified, or equivalent. Have proven experience working within an Accounts department within the UK and in professional services. Have excellent working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and SQL.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure and prioritise conflicting demands. Be self-motivated with good organisational skills. Demonstrating a willingness to learn new skills and assist in the on-going development of the firm’s business will be required.
