Insolvency & Restructuring Solicitor - Flexible Level

CRA Legal is working with a mid-tier firm as they look to source an additional solicitor to join the Insolvency and Restructuring team, which sits in the wider corporate team closely alongside the property team too.

The work of the firm is varied, in such that there is a dynamic client base including smaller/ boutique companies through to significant national blue chip clients (the newsworthy types). Beyond both regional and national work, the team also advises high net worth individuals.

Naturally they are looking for a solicitor who has forged expert working relationships with insolvency practitioners and has a successful track record of advising creditors during restructuring and insolvency proceedings. Further to advising the creditors they would like an individual who has worked with key individuals at board level on the debtor side of things, working closely with them during the turbulent time of insolvency.

As to the above the work will cover a mix of both non-contentious and litigated matters on a case by case basis. Comprehensive experience of both would be highly desirable, although a specialist primarily dealing with either will be considered, perhaps offering the perfect opportunity to broaden your exposure in the practice area.

The firm will accommodate (if desired) initial informal discussions/ meetings with potential applicants, giving you the opportunity to find out more prior to entering a more formal process. This can be done at their offices in Leeds or off site if preferred. Again there is flexibility with timings and out of work hours is not an issue.
