NQ Commercial Solicitor

We have the pleasure of working with an established and growing law firm based in South Manchester. This company has a long standing reputation within the area, and currently is looking to appoint a new Commercial Solicitor to handle the workload that it is receiving from referrals and its strong network of clients.

You will ideally be Newly Qualified (however, please do still apply if you are just either side of this too). Initially you will be working through the high number of referrals that the firm receives on the back of its strong reputation. Your caseload will be mainly made up of Commercial matters for small and medium-sized companies (however, Blue Chip business isn’t completely out of the question, if you have your own contacts or aspire to this one day). This will include new lease arrangements and renewals, landlord and tenant disputes, supplier disputes, building fixtures/fitting, land law, restrictive covenants, and trespass, with the role being highly varied!

Whilst there is work for you to handle right away, the firm is also looking for a candidate who is seeking to develop and grow the department. This will involve attending networking events and exhibitions with colleagues. The company is investing in you completely to ensure that it supports your development, providing you with all of the tools to allow you to make this role every success. This includes both finances for marketing and business development, in addition to a full-time paralegal to support you!

The firm is realistic and has really thought about the benefit package for this role. It is going to be offering a very competitive package, which will include a generous profit share (up to 40%) of all new business won, with your commissions paid on a percentage of your monthly billings.
