Litigation Legal Secretary

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Sheffield based law firm for an experienced legal secretary to join their City Centre office in the litigation team.

The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' experience within a busy Property Management or Litigation environment, excellent copy and digital audio typing skills at 65 wpm are essential with a good understanding of the need to prioritise when working with both clients and colleagues.

Duties include audio transcription, formatting/amending documents and preparing bundles, generating monthly bills, liaising with cashiers, diary management and telephone contact with clients.

The candidate will need to be flexible when working for other fee earners within the department, willing to learn and able to use their initiative.

Desirable key skills and experiences:

- Experience of working as a Legal Secretary in a solicitor's practice. ?

- Fast and accurate typing at least 65+ wpm. ?

- Ability to draft non legal correspondence. ?

- Ability to manage and organise large volumes of documents. ?

- Confident in use of email and other systems in daily work. ?

- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. ?

- Knowledge of Aim Evolution accounting package.

- Knowledge of OMS document management. ?

- Knowledge of BigHand digital dictation.
