Our client is a prestigious Legal 500, Lexcel accredited firm with offices throughout London. The firm has an array of certified practitioners in an extensive range of legal areas including matters involving actions against the Police. The practice is now looking to recruit a new AAP Solicitor to join its busy civil department based in East London.
THE ROLE
As a result of an increasing caseload, our client now has an opportunity for a dynamic Civil Liberties Solicitor with human rights knowledge, in particular experience in handling actions against the police. For this role as an AAP Solicitor you will deal with a variety of civil liberty and human rights matters including; assault and battery, wrongful arrest, false imprisonment, misfeasance in public office, Unlawful stop and search and malicious prosecution. THE CANDIDATE
You will ;-
Be a qualified Civil Solicitor with 3 years + PQE in AAP matters;
Have experience in handling public and privately funded Actions against the Police and other relevant authorities, judicial review matters, and human rights claims;
Possess a professional, pro-active approach;
Demonstrate excellent client care skills.
