Desktop Support Analyst

A highly regarded US Law Firm based in a stunning central City location currently has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join their friendly team in London. Working as part of the Global Desktop Support Team the Desktop Support Analyst will provide day-to-day technical support locally and remotely for desktop systems software and hardware, telephone and mobile devices. The Desktop Support Analyst will install, configure and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, desk phones and mobile devices.

Responsibilities will involve but will not be limited to:

• Troubleshooting systems with limited supervision.
• Maintaining detailed tickets in IT support database.
• Remote troubleshooting over phone, email, shared desktop, Citrix.
• Technical support of Windows 7/8 OS and MAC OS.
• Ability to troubleshoot all mobile devices.
• Workstation and peripheral maintenance/software updates and support.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Troubleshooting network connections issues.
• Experience with Active Directory.

Due to the nature of this role the Desktop Support Analyst must have outstanding verbal and written skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. The role requires a flexible and professional attitude and the ability to work independently, as well as be a team player in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
