Corporate Associate (Mid-Senior level)

This is a role where Partner involvement is high on the agenda and workload will be broad, yet challenging due to the team being small and cohesive - you'll be expected to get 'stuck in' to different aspects of work. Furthermore, will be assisting them in advising clients on complex acquisitions and disposals. The role shall be quite generalist and the chosen Corporate Associate will be involved in handling the full remit of work as your clients typically will be regional and international companies, private equity houses, alternative investment houses, sovereign wealth funds and financial sponsors.

Ideally, we're looking for a Corporate Associate who's attained over 4Yrs. PQE in a broad range of Corporate matters and it is essential that some of this experience has been gained in the UAE so we anticipate that you will have strong local market knowledge and a good network. You will be very competent at leading mandates with an appropriate level of supervision and should feel comfortable in assisting in varying areas of general Corporate work, while delegating tasks/ supporting any junior lawyers where needed.

It is crucial that you are Western, Commonwealth-qualified and those Corporate Associates who have accumulated Middle East experience will be viewed particularly favourably. Candidates who speak Arabic and English fluently will also have an advantage but this is not a prerequisite! You will have experience in handling a broad range of corporate matters such as dealing general corporate matters including but not limited to corporate transactions, mergers & acquisitions, SPA's, private equity, joint ventures and general contract drafting and negotiating. You must be Western qualified form a Commonwealth jurisdiction to be considered for this role.
