My client is a boutique US Asset Manager based in Mayfair who is looking for a funds lawyer to join as the second in-house lawyer working alongside both their European Head of Legal and the business to assist in all aspects of funds.
This will include fund formation, financing and providing advice on regulatory aspects and mitigating legal risk. The successful candidate will have a strong background in regulated funds, including UCITS. You will have a minimum of two years experience from a top law firm or in-house legal team.
This is a unique opportunity to sit at the right hand of one of the top funds lawyers in the City and gain fantastic business exposure. In addition, due to the size of the legal function the role is likely to be incredibly varied. A perfect opportunity for someone looking to move to the Buy side or to make that first move in-house.
