In-House Counsel - Commercial and Corporate - Intellectual Property -London -5+ pqe
Our client is a venture capital fund looking for a 5+ PQE commercial or corporate lawyer to join them on a 3 to 6 month contract. The company invest in and work with entrepreneurs (mostly with a technology focus) who are looking to revolutionise their given industries with cutting edge technology in sectors ranging from medicine to sport and leisure. The lawyer will work directly with the General Counsel on an exciting new project and to support the business on commercial, corporate, governance, day to day commercial contracts, as well as any ad hoc legal work.
This is a rare-in house opportunity within the venture capital sector working with an exciting company in its West End London base. You will work with cutting edge technology companies, best in class investment and legal professionals and gain great exposure to pioneering and potentially ground breaking work.
Applicants should be:
* An English & Wales Qualified 5 year + PQE solicitor and immediately available;
* Ideally you will posses proven corporate or commercial and intellectual property experience;
* Experience working with a leading law firm (UK or US), technology company, Asset Manager or Fund ;
* The ability to work autonomously whilst remaining a reliable team player;
* Strong communication skills and relationship building qualities to maintain existing and build new relationships.
There will be an extremely competitive basic salary.
