Environmental Lawyer, interim

Lawyer with experience of environmental law sought for an interim position in a property development company in the Midlands. We are keen to hear from environmental lawyers or property, planning or construction lawyers with experience in this area. Full and part time working will be considered.

My client is a listed property development business based in the West Midlands. They currently have a team of 3 lawyers working in the business who support the business primarily in relation to the property focused legal aspects of large scale development projects. As part of this, the business faces significant environmental legal issues specifically relating to remediation projects, the contaminated land regime and the associated EPA requirements.

This is a newly created role for a environmental lawyer or a property, real estate, planning or construction lawyer with environmental experience to join the business and undertake a business facing role. For individuals with a wider skill set then the business would be able to utilise their skills and offer you a varied role.

We are keen to hear from experienced solicitors seeking a part-time or full time opportunity. You will be offered a 6 month contract in the first instance, although there is likely to be a longer term opportunity available.
