THE ROLE
This role calls for a particular mix of skills and experience. You should have in-depth knowledge of Legal Aid funding and a good background in matters relating to the provision of care for elderly and vulnerable clients. Some familiarity with matters relating to education provision and Court of Protection work would be useful, although this is not essential. You must have good IT skills and be familiar with using case management systems and have very good time management, with the ability to deal with a high-volume caseload. THE CANDIDATE
You will:-
Be a solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE experience in a well-regarded firm dealing with public law matters;
Have detailed knowledge of Legal Aid funding;
Be experienced with community care work;
Enjoy networking and be prepared to engage in business development and marketing matters as required;
Have excellent communication skills, able to engage with clients from a variety of different cultures and from different walks of life and be able to explain complex matters in empathetic, clear and accessible language.
