Supporting the Group, our client has a dedicated in-house legal department. This centralised function provides legal advice and support to business stakeholders throughout the UK and worldwide. It provides an essential service to the business and its advice, guidance and support is highly valued by the Group and its key decision makers.

Working closely with the business, the successful individual will use their legal skills in a complex and challenging environment. The workload will be diverse. You will have responsibility for drafting and negotiating a wide remit of high value and often complex agreements. You will work closely with the business, particularly the commercial team, supporting in bids and you will be actively involved with heavy weight complex projects, dispute management, IP, governance and risk management .

To be considered for this opportunity you will be a strong commercial law background, be that from a corporate, contracts, projects or commercial litigation discipline. You will probably have gained 2-4 years pqe either in house with a leading corporate or notable national / international law firm. Additionally, you must have the confidence and communication skills to work with management and other employees of the business.
