Boutique international law firm, based in beautiful offices is looking to hire a new member of staff to work on reception and assisting the office with general duties, ideally after someone who is looking for that 1st opportunity of working in the City and has at least some office experience, ideally from working on reception with a positive and enthusiastic attitude who is professional and gets on with their fellow employees. Duties will include you to professionally answer telephone calls to the office and direct them as required, organise incoming and outgoing couriers and frank /send post, manage conference room bookings, ensuring that they are cleaned, neatly arranged and appropriately maintained with the required stationery/refreshment, arrange client/internal lunches and assist with events co-ordination; researching and booking staff team events, assist with copying, printing and scanning of documents as required, maintenance of office filing systems and setting up additional systems as requited, liaise with external engineers/suppliers to resolve office equipment issues, filing of documents and development or modification of filing practices, including use of electronic rather than paper records, assist with arranging the start-up for new joiners. Including welcome pack, IT systems and access, and office/position requirements, assisting with maintaining Health & Safety and welfare practices to ensure safe systems of work are implemented and adhered to, this includes, PAT testing, First Aid and Fire Marshals, assist Office Manager with maintaining supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt of goods and ensure invoices are matched with delivery notes plus complete any other duties as requested by Office Manager.  Applicants must have excellent telephone manner and presentation, be eager to learn and develop and be competent on MS Office. Standard hours 9am to 5:30pm.
