Client Details

A Birmingham based private practice.

Description

Recruitment in Private Client has remained busy during 2016 and we are now working with another Midlands law firm who are looking to add to their team. This opportunity can stand out from a lot of the others in the local market in that the team have a genuine and consistent high-net worth individual client base. Whilst they do get involved with general day-to-day will work, they also advise clients on complicated tax and trusts work.

This would be a perfect opportunity for a solicitor wanting to make the step up to a more complex caseload or a solicitor with high-net worth experience but who wants to work for a smaller firm with work/life balance.

The team is fairly small but it is supportive. You will be given the chance to work on your own files and deal with your own clients, so it is very autonomous in that regard. For the more complex matters, the senior lawyers can assist and support you to aid your development.

The firm has a good culture and people enjoy working there. There's plenty of examples of staff who have worked at the firm for a very long period of time.

The workload is busy but manageable and the firm is very established in their local market so they are confident that quality work will continue to come in. You'll get involved in the full range of private client matters from wills and probate, administration of estates through to more complex trusts and tax matters.

If you are considering your next move and want to work on top quality private client matters at a firm that will offer genuine support for your career, then please get in touch for a confidential discussion.

Profile

It's likely that you will have at least two years' experience working within a private client team. Ideally you will have exposure to high net worth clients but don't worry if not - the firm is happy to look at solicitors who want to make the step up.
