THE ROLE
The firm is looking to hire a senior employment solicitor. This is a new role to bolster their Employment offering.
Employment sits within the Corporate department and the majority of employment work comes from referrals from the business, typically from the corporate, real estate and private client departments when they are doing deals.
The work involved will mainly be non-contentious. Typical work will involve TUPE, direct service contracts, corporate M&A support work, employee share schemes and other general employment matters.
Any contentious work would be referred to barristers, however supervised and overlooked by this person.
ABOUT YOU
They are ideally looking for an employment lawyer with 6-9PQE currently working at a top 50 law firm.
This person will have the necessary gravitas and authority to work with an existing employment solicitor with 5PQE and be able to be the lead person on employment matters and help grow the function.
