Legal 500 practice seeks Solicitor or Barrister with solid public and regulatory experience!

The Role
We are now seeking a pro-active and talented Public and Regulatory Solicitor or Barrister for a Legal-500 rated department based in London. Acting for clients including regulators, public authorities, charities and private sector organisations, the successful Solicitor or Barrister will manage a challenging and stimulating caseload of public and regulatory matters to include: judicial reviews; independent adjudications; advising on education regulation; competition; tribunal representation and; statutory interpretation. Due to the varied nature of work this department handles, procurement experience is therefore desirable but not essential.
With the skills and expertise to help drive the practice and public and regulatory department forward, the successful Solicitor or Barrister will build and maintain client relationships and promote services to attract new business
The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with 3-4 years’ PQE gained within public and regulatory law;
You will have excellent communication and client skills;
You will have a strong academic record;
Procurement experience is desirable but not essential;
You will work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines;
You will be professional, personable and detail orientated;
You will be a pro-active team player with a flair for business development.
