Head of Conveyancing/Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

The Client

Our Client is a large and successful practice based in Lancashire. They are traditionally a Personal Injury Practice and have become a leading firm in this sector, however they are looking to diversify into other areas of law.

They are looking to employ an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to head up their new Conveyancing department.

The Role

This exciting opportunity will provide you with the challenge of starting and establishing a thriving conveyancing department. The firm have obtained CQS Accreditation and are looking to become a leading name in Conveyancing in the area.

You will handle your own caseload of conveyancing transactions to include, sales, purchases, leasehold, freehold, help to buy, and shared equity.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the file from inception to completion

Overtime you will be asked to grow the department and recruit members for you team to assist you with the files.

You will implement the correct procedures to enable the department to grow and handle an increasing workload.

You will be responsible for recruitment, training and supervision of new members of the team.

The Candidate

To be eligible for this role you must be a Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years Post Qualification Experience.

You will have proven expertise in handling all aspects of Residential Conveyancing matters and your technical skills will be second to none.

You will also have strong client care skills with an ambition to grow a successful department.

The salary on offer is competitive and commensurate with experience, ranging from £35,000 to £45,000.
