Worldwide Manufacturing Company who are market leaders in their field is seeking a Head of Legal to cover their UK and European operation.

Based in Berkshire you will have overall responsibility for all legal affairs including corporate governance within Europe. This is a rare opportunity to join a well established and respected company who are known for their manufacturing expertise.

You will be a Head of Legal / General Counsel or a Senior Legal Counsel looking for their next move in-house. You will have the ability to partner across different areas of the business explaining complex legal matters to both legal and non legal employees.

This is a unique and challenging position which requires an experienced Head of Legal / General Counsel/ Senior Legal Counsel to work commercially with all areas of the business. You will manage a small but established legal team and offer support and guidance where possible.

Main responsibilities:

• Supporting/ directing the legal department
• Formulating the annual Legal budget spend
• Providing legal advice in respect to all UK and European matters
• Competition law
• Commercial/ Corporate law

Preferred:

• Previous experience within a similar role
• Manufacturing experience
• Experienced PQE Level
• Significant Corporate Law experience is essential
• Commercial/ Contracts Law experience
• Experienced in Competition Law
