My client, an international private practice, require a junior-mid level lawyer to join them on a contract basis. The role is to undertake Commercial, particularly IT, focussed work for the duration of a maternity contract.
The firm are a leading private practice who have an award winning corporate and commercial practice in the UK. They cover a mix of advisory, litigation and transactional matters for some of the world’s biggest technology businesses. Their global presence means that much of this is done on a multi-jurisdictional basis. The role would be based in their London office alongside a number of partners.
The successful lawyer will have experience in a commercial setting, ideally with proven experience of I. T. matters. You will be both technically very able, have excellent communication and possess good interpersonal skills. In addition, you ideally will have previously practised at a leading UK or US firm, though common wealth lawyers with experience outside the UK will be considered.
The role with include, but is not necessarily limited to advising on the following:
- Outsourcing
- Procurement
- Data storage
- Network development
The ideal candidate will also have a broader knowledge of general commercial matters and contracts outside of I.T. matters
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to build out their Technology practice or overseas candidates looking to make their first foray into the London legal market.
If you have any queries about your suitability for the role, or perhaps contracting more generally, please do get in touch.
Please note that PQE stated is merely indicative of the level of experience estimated to complete the work. Candidates outside of this range who are able to demonstrate the appropriate experience will be of interest also.
