In-House Media Paralegal

LAW Absolute is working on a truly exceptional opportunity; Our client is a Fortune 500 American multinational company who are seeking a motivated and ambitious paralegal to join their vibrant offices in West London.  

The company itself is remarkable and operates operate on a truly global scale with presence in over 40 countries worldwide. Despite its large scale, you will be working within a highly supportive and collaborative Legal team undertaking varied and interesting work.

The role will involve a core focus on supporting a junior lawyer in the Content Distribution arena. Your responsibilities will include;

• Managing and negotiating standard TV and Home Entertainment Licensing Agreements across all platforms
• Supporting the legal team generally and in particular the Director of Legal & Business Affairs on live events and attraction deals.
• Handling consumer product licensing, marketing, IP clearances, permissions and handling general commercial queries across the business

The ideal candidate will be bright and astute, have excellent academics and ideally have at least one year  previous experience in a similar role. In addition you will possess the following skills;

• Ability to handle a fast paced environment
• Personable and able to work well in a team
• Confident
• Sharp attention to detail

The firm offers a competitive remuneration package. The role is maternity cover and is to start from December for a duration of 6-8 months.
