An experienced legal risk & compliance professional is required to join a top tier law firm in Manchester as a Compliance Team Leader or Manager.
Heading up a small team in the regions and reporting into the wider risk function in London, the Compliance Manager / Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and professional conduct obligations such as the Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct, anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering and data protection legislation.
This is a senior level role which would suit candidates who are already operating at manager level, or a senior officer with supervisory experience looking to take on more responsibly. You will have gained at least 4 years’ plus similar experience at another legal 500 commercial law firm.
