Senior Employment Lawyer

Senior Employment Lawyer required to join a local authority based in London for an initial 3 month period.

Our client is looking for a talented and ambitious lawyer who is looking to take the next step in their career, at a senior level. Previous managerial experience is not necessary.

The successful candidate will undertake the full range of Employment matters, which may include;

● Dismissal (unfair/wrongful/constructive)

● Discrimination (race, disability, sex, etc.)

● TUPE

● Admissions appeals

● Exclusion appeals

The successful Senior Employment Lawyer will handle a mixed workload of both casework and advocacy. Our client is seeking a confident advocate, able to conduct employment tribunals.

Previous public sector employment experience is highly desirable for this position, but our client is also keen to hear from candidates with a private practice background who have strong employment law experience.
