The Commercial Property department as a whole has more than doubled its fee income since 2006 achieving, in percentage terms, sustained year on year growth and in the most recent financial year achieving fees of £7.4m. This growth provides a solid foundation and confidence in the ability of the business to succeed in continuing the expansion and diversification of its commercial property offering.
The Role
Due to continued growth we are currently seeking a Partner/Partner Designate (8-12 PQE) with a significant following and substantial contact list to join our London Team.
The main purpose of the role will be to develop and grow a practice; therefore solid business development skills are required. Leadership ability / potential and financial acumen will also be key.
The team’s client base is high quality entrepreneurial and diverse as well as national and international we are therefore open as to the nature of the successful candidate’s practice.
Across our four offices this includes:
- Corporate occupiers
- Small to medium size (non-fund) property investors
- Leisure
- Small to medium-sized developers including mixed use and residential – office schemes, retail, leisure, residential and mixed use
- Health related property
- Banks
- Pension Fund / Private Fund Property
- Retail
- Mining, Mineral and Quarrying companies
- Strategic Land, Options, and Promotion Agreements
Key Requirements
The successful candidate will have substantial experience specialising in 2-3 areas of Commercial Property with a reputation as a relationship builder.
You will have excellent communication skills, with an ability to work with commercial property partners in London and 4 other offices to build up the department. A successful track record in attending industry events to develop contacts and network is desired. You will also have a proven track record in running a client portfolio profitably.

People will be given assistance in all aspects of developing their business and client base which stretches to allowing people to run with new ideas and trusting them to deliver without interference beyond some stress testing and updates on progression.
