A prestigious high-end Property Management company in West London seeks an Operations & Compliance Administrator on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for the Operational, Legal, Compliance and Company Administration services for one of the largest residential and commercial developments in London. Sitting within the Management Team and working closely with the Managing Director, you will have high levels of responsibility and near unlimited scope for progression across the wider business. In a quasi-Paralegal, Operations and Compliance role, this represents a fantastic and rare opportunity to move your career in-house at a highly respected Property Management company with opportunities to develop a career in Law, Compliance or Property Management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Review and analyse a range of commercial and residential agreements including contracts, leases, service charge enquiries, restrictive covenants, licenses and lease assignments;
* Prepare draft reports for the Landlord, maintain building Compliance records and undertake Risk Assessment Reviews;
* Contract Management and Compliance including preparing sub-contractor contracts, reviewing insurance provisions and company policies and monitoring employment contracts;
* Preparing procedural guidelines, information notes for leaseholders and quarterly newsletters;
* General admin including photocopying, filing, updating the Company website and assisting with HR/payroll issues.
THE CANDIDATE
* A high achiever with a minimum 2:1 or equivalent in undergraduate degree in Law or GDL - essential;
* Successfully completed the LPC, preferably with an elective in Advanced Commercial Property - desirable;
* Previous experience in property management, residential property or Landlord & Tenant work would be a significant advantage;
* Solid commercial awareness and familiarity with key contractual clauses - able to review clauses and explain their legal effect;
* An analytical approach and a robust attitude towards working practices;
* Ambitious with a determination to succeed and an open mind towards career progression;
* Excellent IT skills.
Demand for this position is expected to be high and candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Salary is £26-30k, subject to experience.
