Major, Lindsey & Africa has been exclusively retained to search for a Legal Counsel for a multinational pharmaceutical company in Paris. The role reports into the Head of Legal, will support six countries across Europe and will interact closely with their EMEA legal team of 20 lawyers, as well as their US counterparts. This role would suit an in house commercial lawyer with strong academics; good law firm training is preferable. Candidates looking to make their first move out of law firm will be considered if they show a solid commercial mindset. No particular industry experience is necessary, although it would be beneficial if you have worked in a heavily regulated environment. The role requires business level fluency in French and English, and knowledge of other European languages would be beneficial. Occasional international travel will be required in the role. The company is happy to relocate a good candidate should that be required.
