Company Overview:
Cancer Research Technology UK pioneers life - saving research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Through its Drug Development Office ("DDO") it plays a significant role in the early phase development of cancer drugs in the UK, often progressing promising anti-cancer agents and diagnostics that may not otherwise be developed. To date, the DDO has tested 110 potential cancer medicines and treatments, six of which are now widely available to patients.
Role Overview:
A stimulating and challenging position has arisen within the Drug Development Office to deliver solutions to enable clinical trials to commence - assisting through the entire process from the drug concept development, pre-clinical development and initiating clinical trials in NHS Trust hospitals throughout the whole of the UK.
Reporting to and working closely with the Head of the Legal Team for CDD, the successful candidate will play an integral role within the Legal Team. The primary focus will be to advise, draft and negotiate a vast range of commercial agreements covering such areas as: confidentiality, drug concept development, pre-clinical and translational research activity, manufacturing (GLP/GMP), service arrangements, research and development, supply of drug, collaboration and partnering agreements, grant and funding arrangements, material transfer, NHS Trust arrangements, intellectual property licensing, data management, safety exchange documentation, consultant arrangements, as well as other bespoke agreements.
Cancer Research Technology UK seeks a 5 years+ PQE lawyer to join their team. In-house experience within the Life Sciences Industry and Clinical Trial Law and Regulation would be highly advantageous.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
