Commercial Solicitor (Circa 1-5 years' PQE)

Commercial lawyer with 1-5 years PQE is sought to join the UK business of the worlds leading brands. This is an excellent opportunity to join an estbalished legal team and undertake a varied commercially focussed role.

Reporting into the Head of Legal, you will undertake a commercial role focusing on activities associated with core products from across all areas of the business, including commercial product lines, purchasing, manufacturing sites and marketing.

The focus of your role will involve drafting and negotiating standard and non-standard commercial contracts including terms and conditions, complex service agreements, agency contracts, licensing agreements, sponsorship agreements, consultancy agreements and NDAs for product lines with large national and international organisations. In addition, you will gain exposure to broader legal areas such as advising on copy clearance for marketing and media (including TV advertisement and social media), potential disputes, competition law, compliance, the use and protection of brands/trademarks and data protection.

To be successful in this role you will need a good grounding in commercial law and be willing and competent at dealing with matters which may not be in your specialist area. As an in-house solicitor, you will be expected to demonstrate sound commercial and legal judgement as well as a practical "common sense" approach to the provision of legal advice.
