Locum Childcare Solicitor

Our client, a Local Authority in the East Midlands, is seeking the assistance of a Locum Childcare Solicitor to join its well regarded and established In House Legal team.

This position is offered on a locum basis for a period 6 months, however we are strongly advised there is a likelihood of an extension.

The candidate should be able to handle a busy caseload of childcare matters. Previous experience working for a Local Authority is preferable but not essential as they would consider Childcare Solicitors from a Private Practice background.

Duties will include;
• Managing a full child protection caseload of care proceedings cases
• Conducting own advocacy for all types of hearings including Contested Hearings and Final Hearings

An extremely attractive hourly rate of £40 per hour is offered to the successful candidate. Higher rates will be considered for the right candidates.
