Major UK law firm seeks to appoint an additional pensions lawyer (NQ+) to join their market leading offering based in Birmingham.

Our client is a progressive and award winning firm with a clear strategy and a strong national and international footprint. The firm is home to an exceptional pensions practice.

The firm now seeks to appoint a further pensions lawyer, either an NQ or a junior associate with between 1-3+ years pqe to join their partner led and Chambers listed pensions team based in Birmingham. Acting for a range of major clients including employers, employees, sponsors, administrators, trustees/trustee boards and investment fund managers, the existing team advises on the full suite of pensions matters including registered and non-registered pensions plans (ranging from smaller or bespoke executive plans to multi-billion occupational pensions schemes) asset plans, scheme mergers / reconstructions and conversions, documentation relating to SSASs and SIPPs, supplementary plans (SERPs and RCAs) complex investment contracts and all manner of pension scheme governance advice. The team also handles pensions litigation matters including internal DR, pensions ombudsman complaints and representative actions at the High Court.

Working in a friendly team and under the auspices of an experienced and supportive partner, you'll be advising on a range of pensions matters. You will have gained experience working in another recognised pensions team and you may already be based in the Midlands or seeking a move to the region from London or another regional centre.
