We currently have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Property New Business Legal Account Manager / Property Account Director / Business Development Director to join their well-established office. This role is home based but will require travel to their office based in Cheshire on a regular basis and you would be expected to travel to meet clients and business sources across the UK. Previous conveyancing / property experience within a business development / account management role is required. You will be working within a close knit team at senior level.
The firm are offering a competitive salary plus bonus and a car allowance.
The successful candidate will be selling the conveyancing services and other products of the business into the financial services market across the UK.

Duties include:
- Proactive in identifying new business opportunities within the market and to lead the approach to win the business.
- Acting as the clients’ advocate in managing internal relationships and involve business support departments as required in negotiations to win the business and complete due diligence.
- Provide and manage the seamless transition of ‘won’ business to the existing management team.
- To travel extensively across the UK in search of new business opportunities.
- Develop senior relationships with the client, up to and including Board level.
- Ensure that the business is seen as a lender partner, not just a supplier.
- Promote and develop additional streams of business with the account, driven via the account plan and agreed with the Sales and Marketing Director.
- Make certain that the lender contacts are informed of new products and services available
- Present to lender staff at regional meetings to create and sustain a good knowledge of the business service.
- Convey any issues or important information to the lender by the most appropriate means of communication.
- Involvement in the implementation of any new products and services sold.
- Compile proposals/tender responses for any new products or contract renewals.
