Due to continued expansion, Bolt Burdon has a vacancy for a Contentious Probate Solicitor to join their Disputed Wills and Trusts Team.
You will be dealing with all aspects of Contentious Wills, Trusts and Probate cases.
You will be able to manage your own case load which will consist mainly of claims under the Inheritance (Provision and Family Dependants) Act 1975 and will challenge claims, acting for both claimant and defendant clients.
The work will also involve elements of mutual will claims, proprietary estoppel, TOLATA claims, negligence actions in respect of will drafting and estate administration, Executor and Personal Representative disputes, Lasting Power of Attorney disputes, Court of Protection disputes, statutory wills, capacity to make lifetime gifts and Deprivation of Liberty actions.
You will have experience in dealing with high net worth clients and elderly clients.
You will have between 1 and 4 years post qualification experience in Disputed Wills and Trusts.
You will have completed the ACTAPS course or committed to studying for it.
You must have a commitment and enthusiasm to grow the existing client base of the department.
