Financial Accountant – Birmingham
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a financial accountant to join a top tier law firm, offering you a permanent position in their finance team.
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced financial accountant to join their busy, vibrant office. You will work from state of the art offices based in Birmingham City Centre, situated in walking distance of the train station.
The firm will offer you a competitive salary, extensive benefits package along with a fantastic, friendly working environment.
Your key duties will include, but will not be limited to;
- Taking responsibility for the accounts reporting model in excel
- Analysing, preparing and presenting the firms balance sheet and all accounts and reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Leading the preparation for the annual audit and acting as the department expert in financial and accounting regulations
You will have at least six months experience working in either a law firm or accounting practice.
You will have ACCA qualification or equivalent, along with a strong financial background with understanding of balance sheet items, experience working with external auditors and handling large amounts of data in excel.
