Corporate / Commercial Counsel

Our high profile global client is seeking a Corporate/Commercial Counsel covering the EMEAA region to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the General Counsel, you will be responsible for corporate and commercial advice to the EMEAA businesses. You will work on legal issues arising in the business to ensure that they remain compliant with the laws in which they operate. You will provide pragmatic and commercially focused advice in this fast paced in house environment.

Accountabilities:
* Review and prepare commercial contracts (sale, purchase, agency, distribution) acting as a liaison between HR and external legal counsel across EMEAA in relation to various employment issues
* Provide commercial legal advice
* Transaction management e.g. M&A, joint venture agreements etc. and execution including legal support and commercial negotiations
* Work within cross functional team and for clients from all EMEAA divisions giving both legal and commercial advice and guidance
* Provide advice on intellectual property matters

The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE*. You will be an excellent communicator with previous in house experience. Involvement in multi-jurisdictional/international transactions would be advantageous. Strong commercial contract skills and experience is essential.
