Our client is an international law firm with an outstanding reputation globally but with strong foundations in the local market in Manchester. An opportunity now arises for a construction litigation solicitor to be part of its' leading construction dispute resolution team.
You will handle high value and complex construction/engineering disputes. The workload will be primarily domestic, but there are also opportunities for involvement in international work. The caseload will predominately relate to high value infrastructure projects.
The team has a good mix of construction lawyers but there is still scope for a number of hires at the 1-6 PQE level. It's a great time to join, with a signifcant partner hire now firmly at the head of the construction team, for a contentious construction solicitor looking to expand your horizon into both national and international work this offers you the ideal platform.
You will have a strong academic background and have received good training in a solid regional or national law firm but experience is key and you must be dedicated to a career on the contentious side of construction, particularly if your experience to date has been mixed. This contentious construction solicitor role also offers scope for development and progression throughout the firm with a very clear and structured path.
