Our client based in Essex is looking for a highly skilled Planning Locum to join their team as soon as possible.
Your duties will include:
*Covering work on CPO, highways, right to buy and commercial property transactions
*Drafting and negotiating s106 agreements
*Looking over any other planning agreements/confidentiality agreements that arise in the course of business
*Dealing with FOIA/EIR requests received in connection to planning matters
*Dealing with high profile planning enforcement cases (including JRs) or public inquiry matters
*Advising on Cabinet, Mayoral and Strategic Development Committee Reports
*Giving general advice to clients on planning/highway/CPO issues
*Attending Strategic Development Committee and pre committee meetings and advising on direct action reports on planning enforcement matters
You will need to have experience of:
*Development control
*Planning policy
*Enforcement work
*Highways work and
*Excellent advocacy skills
*High-level contract drafting, negotiating and finalisation
