In House - Banking, Derivatives and Regulatory - Senior Legal Advisor - 3+pqe Group Legal Services - DUBLIN

Our client is leading investment bank and leading treasury services provider with headquarters in Ireland. An opportunity has arisen for a senior legal advisor to join the in house legal services team to advise on derivatives and regulatory related matters. The work will involve providing advice and legal support to the company businesses and senior management on corporate derivative transactional activities as well as providing strategic advice to senior management and board members.

Day to day activities will include advising on a range of matters including trade arrangements , documentation and risk management, risk management process for new product proposals, assisting and advising on derivatives and trade finance documentation and miscellaneous contractual arrangements as well as dealing with the regulator and advising on general corporate governance matters.

Candidates will have at least 3 years experience advising on derivatives and treasury related products, documentation and/or regulations, commercial, risk and technology transactions. Ideally you will have knowledge of Structured products, clearing documantation, trade reporting regimes under EMIR, MiFID II and an understanding of the legislative framework within which the treasury business operates.

The bank will consider both local and foreign qualified derivatives lawyers.
