Senior Regulatory Lawyer -Asset Management

The asset management arm of a global bank is looking to recruit a senior buy side lawyer to work closely with it's Global General Counsel . Based within their offices in the West End of London, this would be a long term engagement , offering at least a 12 months duration, if not longer.

Your role will focus on the impact of proposed and current regulatory and legal changes on the banks asset management business globally . You will be responsible for understanding and interpreting all incoming legal and regulatory changes ,advocating relevant changes to senior management and disseminating it throughout the business .

It is essential that you are a senior lawyer (8PQE+) who has worked both extensively and consistently within the asset management industry, including the last few years , a period in which the sector has been shaped extensively by regulatory developments . With extensive regulatory experience, including AIFMD and Mifid11, you will have excellent technical knowledge of these regulations and enjoy advising what their implications would be on a BAU environment.

This is a high profile role, which will provide exposure to senior management across this global bank.
