This department has built up one of the greatest reputations in the South East and built an excellent client base encompassing both old money and new money clients. Increasingly, the work has become more international and clients have considerable wealth with net worth's between £10m-£100m and some greater.

You will act for a number of owner managed business clients and will benefit from the firm's strong commercial, property and family departments/offerings. The retiring partner had close links in the region with referrers and the firm would expect that the incoming partner will continue to build relationships with the referrers in the Hampshire market.

This is a very rare opportunity for someone to join an excellent Hampshire firm and inherit a practice from a private client partner who has been the leading figure in the Hampshire market for many years.

A following would be useful but is not a requirement, as this role is about succession.

This could also also be an opportunity for a strong senior associate with management ability to make the move up to partner level.
