Charities lawyer 1+ years’ PQE LONDON

London law firm’s Charities team is looking to recruit a Charities law solicitor of 1 or more years’ PQE (they will consider candidates of up to Associate level). The Charities team forms part of the firm's Commercial Department. They provide legal advice to clients across the full spectrum of the charity and community sector. The work is largely based in England and Wales, although a significant proportion of their clients are based overseas or have international interests.

Applicants will have strong corporate and commercial experience, with a reasonable grounding in the law of trusts. It is not essential that candidates demonstrate experience in Charities law, though the successful applicant will demonstrate a keen interest in this specialised field of law and a willingness to learn.  Of course, applications from Charities law specialists will also be welcomed. The successful applicant will work with partners and other senior lawyers in the team (and elsewhere in the firm) on a full range of legal matters for charity and institutional clients. You will also be an excellent communicator, good team player and have a keen interest in practice and business development.
